Sanjay Dutt Biopic: Sonam Kapoor signed as Ranbir's leading lady

Mumbai: The much awaited Bollywood movie Sanjay Dutt Biopic has finally found its leading lady. Yes, they have zeroed on Sonam Kapoor to pair with Ranbir Kapoor, who is playing the leading character in the movie.

Ranbir and Sonam, who marked their debuts with Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Saawariya in 2006, have come together after a long gap of 10 years.

According to the reports, Sonam would be playing one of the actresses Sanjay Dutt has dated.

Anushka Sharma is also a part of the movie and would apparently play the role of Dutt's first wife Rhea Pillai. Pillai, an ex-model, is known for her work in the television and advertisement industries. It is to tell you that this would be the third film after Bombay Velvet and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where Ansuhka would share screen space with Ranbir.

Ranbir is working really hard to transform himself to look like Sanjay Dutt.

The film, which would show the rise and fall, the imprisonment and controversies of Sanjay Dutt’s life, is expected to hit theaters on Christmas 2017. Rajkumar Hirani is directing the much-anticipated flick.
