London: Salman Khan might have faced disappointment at the box office recently, but his fan following across the globe hasn’t diminished, and apparently following the same reason, the UK's House of Commons found him the perfect choice for the Global Diversity award.

The Dabangg Khan received the prestigious award from Rt Hon Keith Vaz, British MP and the British Parliament’s longest-serving British Asian MP.

Salman would be next seen in Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, where he has been featured opposite his ex-flame Katrina Kaif. The film is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who has earlier worked with the superstar in Sultan.

He is also scheduled to begin shooting for Race 3, to be directed by Remo D’Souza. The film will see Salman reuniting with Jacqueline Fernandez.
