YouTube's viral effect | Defamation suit against RJ Malishka!!

Mumbai: RED FM RJ Malishka is in a legal trouble. The ruling party in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena, has taken serious cognizance of a trending song that put of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in bad light.

The party has sued 93.5 Red FM RJ Malishka for creating a song on BMC that shows the apathy of the civic body in Mumbai.

Recently the song created by the RJ gained popularity on YouTube channels. The song with lyrics, ‘Mumbai tula BMC var Bharso Naye Ka’, slamming the civic body for pothole-ridden roads, went viral and created stir in political circle of the state.

The defamation suit has been filed by Samadhan Sarvankar, corporator of the Sena. He wrote to Ajoy Mehta, civic commissioner, to file the suit, stating, “The whole aim of the song created by RJ and her team is to malign a public body and mislead citizens.”
