Chennai: Rajinikanth starrer 'Kabali' has got a flying start worldwide grossing more than 45 crores at the Indian Box office on its opening day.

According to a leading producer-distributor, "Kabali managed to gather this large amount of money as it was released in three languages."

  • Kabali features 65-year-old superstar Rajinikanth in a role of gangster who fights for the iniquity faced by Tamils in Malaysia.
  • Kabali is also dubbed in Hindi and Telugu.

In Tamil Nadu, Kabali earned more than Rs 21 crore on its opening day breaking the record of Ajith Kumar's Vedhalam, which has collected around Rs 15 crore on its First day of release.
