Suicide is more of a concern than murder: Prashoon Joshi on Sushant Case

Mumbai: CBFC President Prasoon Joshi, breaking the silence on Sushant Singh Rajput's death, said that in his opinion 'suicide by murder is a major concern as killers can be caught and punished'. Writer and CBFC chairman Prasoon Joshi has said that 'suicide is a disease' and is a bigger concern than murder.

Sushant was found dead in his apartment on 14 June. He said in an interview, 'Suicide is more of a concern for me than murder, because there is a culprit in the murder. While suicide is a disease, the fact is that something is not right, people are insecure and not able to cope.'

Prasoon further said, 'For an artist there is a larger life than business, because they are sensitive. An artist will never like money in life. An artist has a big heart. This is why people get frustrated. ' On Saturday, a panel of AIIMS doctors called Sushant's death a 'suicide case'.
