Post Sushant's suicide, case filed against 8 big names of Bollywood

In connection with Sushant's death, a case has been filed by Advocate, Sudhir Kumar Ojha on 8 big names of Bollywood. Some of them include Salman Khan, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor.

New Delhi: The unfortunate suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput has sparked debate on many topics inside the glamorous film industry. Reports suggest that he was the victim of Nepotism and, that ultimately took toll on his mental health. Due to this very reason, many big names of Bollywood are under target for playing an indirect role that pushed him to this point. According to ANI, Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a case against eight big shot names of B-town.

In latest turn of events, this case has been filed at Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Some of the influential names include Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan and Ekta Kapoor.

Sections Imposed under the case

Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 109 (punishment of abetment if the act abetted is committed in consequence and where no express provision is made for its punishment), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

What Sudhir Kumar Ojha said

"In the complaint, I have alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was removed from around seven films and some of his films were not released. Such a situation was created which forced him to take the extreme step."

Sushant kicked off his TV career with "Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil" and rose to fame with Pavitra Rishta. Ekta Kapoor directed 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil' under her laber Balaji Telfilms which gave an opening to Sushant's career. Now when there is a case against her, Ekta has shown her disgust and has written a long post on Instagram. The post speaks volume about her pain and disgust.

Sushan't uncle has already requested for further investigation in this matter. Maharashtra's Home Minister, Anil Deshmukh also gave a statement in connection with Sushant's death. He said, Mumbai Police will investigate the angle of "Professional Rivalry" in this matter.
