FIR filed against Sugandha Mishra for violating COVID protocols at her wedding

New Delhi: A case was filed in Phagwara on Thursday against comedian Sugandha Mishra and her husband, who had been married for nine days. It is alleged that the Corona Guidelines were violated during their marriage.

Police case against Sugandha Mishra:

A case of violation of covid rules has been registered against Sugandha Mishra, Var Paksha and the manager of Club Cabana at Thana Sadar Phagwara. Police has taken this action based on a viral video. SI Raghuveer Singh of Sadar police station said that no arrests have been made in this case so far. Investigation is being done on the basis of viral video.

Wedding of Sugandha and Sanket:

Comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosle tied the knot on April 26 at Club Cabana in Phagwara. Sugandha's family had already clearly stated that due to Corona the ceremony would take place with simplicity and only a few close relatives would attend the wedding. According to the family, an attempt was made to confine the ceremony to the family.

According to the police, in the video which has gone viral, more than 100 people are seen in the wedding ceremony. This is a violation of the government-issued COVID Guidelines.

Accordingly, the gathering of more than 20 people in the wedding ceremony is prohibited. Sadar police have registered a case under Section 188 and Disaster Management Act by making viral video the basis of the case.

On the morning of April 26, the two put each other on a ring and tied the wedding in the evening. Although the couple has not shared the wedding photos, but both of them look gorgeous in the engagement photos. Haldi and mangani ceremonies were also performed at the same time. Sugandha and Sanket have been very good friends for many years.
