Paatal Lok: Vivek Agnihotri supports BJP MLA on complaining against Anushka Sharma

New Delhi: Anushka Sharma's production 'Paatal Lok' has been released on OTT Platform. The day this web series came on screens, it started earning thumbs up but now there are so many major mistake found. First some people alleged that this web series represents Islamophobia and then a controversy came on a photograph.

BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh Nandkishore Gurjar has filed a police complaint against Anushka Sharma. His objection is to a scene shown in Paatal Lok, in which an edited clipping of a newspaper uses the face of a BJP leader.

According to the BJP MLA, in this picture, Anoop Jalota is standing at the place of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. The production team of Paatal Lok used the original photo and photoshopped some characters. Meanwhile, few faces are as original and BJP MLA is also in that photo.

Bollywood Director took a jibe at this news and commented on Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli too. He tweeted, 'This may not sound like a big news to many. Many in Bollywood will laugh it out and say what’s the big deal.

Ok, ask them a question - What if someone makes a film and uses Anushka or Virat’s photo in the group of a Villain’s flunkies?'

The story of this web series is based on a famous Journalist. The main characters are played by Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishaq Singh and Abhishek Banerjee.
