Nusrat Jahan ties the knot with beau Nikhil; Here's a glimpse of their wedding

Lucknow: Politics and Bollywood are two parallel structures that go hand in hand and when it comes to a sizzling actress joining politics, it's no less than cherry on cake. Nusrat Jahan, predominantly ruling the Bengali cinema and recently contesting from Basirhat as a Trinamool Congress, tied the knot with her businessman beau Nikhil Jain late on Wednesday in the picturesque Turkish town of Bodrum.

The marriage was attended by the duo's close relatives and friends who have already reached the port town in Mugla province on the southern Aegean coast of Turkey. The bride's parents, sister and other close relatives flew with her to Bodrum on June 16.

The actress slipped into an elegant lehenga designed by fashion God-father Sabyasachi Mukherjee, The groom's sophisticated sherwani was also designed by the same 'Guru'.

Nusrat's social media account is buzzing with sneak pics of the gala destination wedding, while she looked stunning in the pictures of her pre-wedding ceremonies like 'haldi' and 'mehndi'. She shared the first photo of the couple after marriage with the caption 'Towards a happily ever after with Nikhil Jain'.

On Thursday, the duo will have a white wedding for which Nusrat is believed to have chosen a dress which is a mix of mint green and white.

Officially announcing her engagement with Jain, Nusrat had written on Instagram: "When reality is finally better than ur dreams, the best thing to hold on to in life... is each other..!! @nikhiljain09."

Even Nikhil had poured his heart out on his social media account while announcing his relationship with the Bengali beauty.
