New Delhi: A new controversy has arisen regarding Mirzapur 2. A petition has now been filed in Lucknow court against this web series released recently.

It has been alleged on behalf of the complainant that in this web series the wrong image of the people of UP, Bihar has been shown. Along with this, there has been talk of showing Bhojpuri speaking area as criminal.

Matter reaches Court:

This application filed in the court on behalf of the President of Krishna Army. In which it demanded from the court that FIRs should be lodged against all the actors associated with this web series, Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Pankaj Tripathi. After which the CJM has summoned a report on the application from Hazratganj police and asked to file an FIR.

MP Anupriya Patel files case against makers of 'Mirzapur 2'

Anupriya Patel, MP from there has also spoken about taking action against the web series on her Twitter case. Anupriya had recently accused Mirzapur of misrepresenting the series through this series. After which Pankaj Tripathi gave his response in this whole matter.

After Anupriya Patel's statement came out, actor Pankaj Tripathi had said that before the beginning of every episode, a disclaimer comes in, which says that Mirzapur is a fictional story and has nothing to do with any human being or place.

I am an actor and I do not want to say anything more in this matter. I also want to tell that if there are Criminals in the Mirzapur series. Then there is also a hero Ramakant Pandit who wants to do a good job for the city.
