Mahika Sharma celebrates Eid; distributes food to Amphan victims in Kolkata

New Delhi: Eid is here, as the situation in Kolkata is defined now as "Virus Caused Misery, Amphan Gave Hell." Actress Mahika Sharma has come forward to help poor Muslim victims to celebrate their annual festival.

She says, "Eid has been very special festival. Currently, the entire world is facing a challenging period. The celebrations thereby, is going to be different this time, keeping in mind the government guidelines. But the situation in Kolkata is worst. The people their are suffering. Everyone of us need to think about them. Its our duty."

The Former Miss Teen Northeast decided to help them with Eid meals. She says, "Food being priority on Eid with some traditional delicacies. Dishes like Biryani, especially sweets like roasted vermicelli (sawaiyan), sweet halwa and channa curry. Many unfortunate people, in kolkata has lost their home to Cyclone 'Amphan' hence I have decided to arrange tiffin boxes for such families.. I'm here in london, but my people their will distribute.. its a good feeling when you bring smile on someone face. I urge people to help to needy people."

Mahika is known for featuring in movies like Mr Joe B. Carvalho and Chalo Dilli. And also in TV shows like Ramayana and F.I.R
