Los Angeles: The Grammy award winner and pop singing sensation Lady Gaga could not hide her emotions and went down in tears as she hugged her family backstage after her triumphant performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday last.

The eye-watering family moment came when the star embraced her parents Cynthia and Joe Germanotta, clinging on her sibling Natali after delivering a spectacular performance in Texas for the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL).

Dressed in the shimmery bodysuit and matching boot the talented musician belted out out a number of her hit songs at the extravaganza.
