Katrina to attend Deep-Veer reception | Check who invited her?

Mumbai: Katrina Kaif expressed her desire to attend the most awaited reception of Bollywood's beloved couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's at Karan Johar's show 'Koffee With Karan'.

It is to be mentioned that on the sets of Karan's talk show she had said that she was looking forward to an invitation to their wedding but she wasn't sure if she would be invited.

"I'm really excited about all these weddings. I want to wear nice clothes and attend... I might not be invited for any but that's a separate thing. But in my mind I'm looking forward to an invitation,"Katrina had said.

However, it seems like god has answered to Katrina's prayers and reportedly Ranveer invited Katrina to his reception in Mumbai on December 1.

According to sources the super excited Katrina has already discussed her schedule with the filmmakers of 'Bharat' to attend the reception. As Salman and Katrina are working on their new film 'Bharat' which is slated to be released on June 5, 2019.

"Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk into the party with the superstar and (Bharat) director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash."

As per the sources newly wedded Deepika and Ranveer are also sending text messages to their colleagues and close friends.

"While the actress (Deepika) did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did," the source said.

"Not just Katrina, but other Bollywood celebrities have also received the invitations a few days ago and Deepika and Ranveer re making sure that they text them personally as well to join their celebrations," added the source.

Deepika and Ranveer got married at Lake Como, in Italy, on Nov 14.
