Pataudi family welcomes a new 'Nawab', Saif-Kareena become parents

Mumbai: Bollywood's size zero diva Kareena Kapoor Khan and the nawab of cine industry Saif Ali Khan have welcome a prince on Tuesday. The star couple has been blessed with a baby boy at the Breach Candy Hospital.

The actors released a statement, moments after the baby was born, naming him Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.

The statement read, "We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son : Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all...With love, Saif and Kareena."

The hospital authorities said that both the mother and the baby were doing fine.

Kareena’s father and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor said “We are very happy. The baby is fine and so is Kareena. All of us are absolutely delighted.”

Director, Producer and a very close friend of Kareena, Karan Johar also shared the news on his twitter handle, blessing the baby and the parents a happy future.

Carrying her pregnancy very well, Kareena Kapoor turned out to be an inspiration for all mommies-to-be.
