Mumbai: Actors, directors reaching out to audience in different forms to promote their films is a normal stuff in the Bollywood industry but something which would leave in a WOW mood is a gesture done by Karan Johar for Akshay Kumar's upcoming flick 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.'

Karan has posted a comedy video on his official twitter account featuring him and Alia Bhatt through which they have tried to help out the 'Toilet...' team in promoting the film.

Karan has also captioned the video, which reminds the audience that the film is to be launched on August 11, stating that it was for Akshay Kumar and KriArj Entertainments.

"Can't wait to watch toilet ek prem Katha...1 day to go...this one is for you @akshaykumar....@kriarj," said the video caption.

'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Shree Narayan Singh featuring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles with Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in supporting roles

The film is said to be a satirical comedy film in support of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions in India, with emphasis on the eradication of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India.

The movie is set to hit the theatres on August 11.
