The Kapil Sharma Show gets extension, thanks to Salman Khan!

Mumbai: The Kapil Sharma Show has been in trouble ever since its cast members Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra parted ways, and it was being speculated that Salman Khan-hosted 'Dus Ka Dum' would replace it soon on Sony TV.

But giving a huge sigh of relief to country's leading comedian Kapil Sharma, Salman Khan is running very busy, hence, his upcoming reality show has been postponed to early next year. The Dabangg Khan is currently busy shooting for 'Tiger Zinda Hai' opposite his former girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Reportedly, Sony TV had given a one-month notice to The Kapil Sharma Show to regain TRPs otherwise they will call it off and award the prime time slot to Dus Ka Dum.

After the prime characters of Dr Mashoor Gulati (Sunil Grover), Chandu (Chandan Prabhakar), Nani (Ali Asgar) and Teacher (Sugandha Mishra) quit the show, it saw major dip in TRPs. They, however, have been replaced by Raju Srivastava, Ehsaan Qureshi, Monica Castellino and Supriya Pathak, but still the show has not regained the viewership it used to enjoy.

It may be recalled that The Kapil Sharma Show star-cast had split post an on-board tussle between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, en-route from Melbourne to Mumbai. Kapil was blamed of insulting and manhandling Sunil in front of the passengers after getting too much drunk.

Well, it is yet not clear if the show will continue or will be taken off air, but fortunately for Kapil Sharma, it has succeeded in making its way back to the Top 10 TRP holding television shows.
