"It will take me a long time to be compared to my mother": Sara Ali Khan

Mumbai: The 'Simmba' actress, Sara Ali Khan was recently caught for a chat where she was questioned about her dealing with success, her challenges and her comparison with mom Amrita Singh.

Currently , Bollywood has a big brigade of star kids lined up to make their debut in the film industry. One such star is Sara Ali Khan who made her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath that went on to become a hit.

Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara gave two hits back to back, including Simmba, that has turned out to be a blockbuster with a whooping 100 crore business at box office, within five days of its release.

The actress was recently caught for a chat where she was questioned about her dealing with success, her challenges and her comparison with mom Amrita Singh.

Speaking on success, Sara said that she's quite exhilarated about the success of her films. She said that after putting in so much effort, the success of a movie proves to be the greatest perk.

However, it hasn't changed her persona. She said there isn't anything like stardom for her. She still lives her life like a simpleton and does her daily chores like any normal girl.

When asked about the celebration of the success of her films, the nascent actress said that she didn't had any time for the celebrations as she was busy with promotions and interviews. However, the actress said that she celebrated the success of her films by giving interviews in which there were constant questions about her movies being a big hit. This gave her a sense of immense joy and pride.

On the question of her comparison with mum and actress Amrita Singh, Sara recalled how Six years back, in a photo -shoot for a magazine, Sara was compared to her mother.

Recently, Sara posted a picture in purple lipstick that resembled her mother's picture from 30 years back in which she also wore a similar lipstick. Minutes after the picture was posted, Sara's account was flooded with comments in which she was called the xerox of Amrita Singh. To this , she responded by saying that this is just a matter of DNA.

Sara told media that right now she's far away from her mother's acting prowess. It will take a lot of time for her to reach the stature her mother has achieved.

The young actress said that being a star kid, there's a lot of pressure on her, yet she will work every inch to to prove her caliber.
