HBD Ranveer! The life journey of an actor who was born to be 'STAR'

I still remember the day when I first saw Ranveer on the big screen in 'Band Baaja Baaraat', an average looking guy delivering power-packed performance, with an unmatchable energy-level and acting skills so fine that I instantly fell in love with him and knew from there that he is born to rule the hearts.

Mumbai: Personally speaking I love this power house of energy who has this secret art of making everyone around him happy and could lit up any situation with his witty and humorous style. Ranveer Singh not only has a great personality and lovey- dovey smile but is also an excellent and fine actor for whom acting isn't just a profession but also a way to express himself.

I still remember the day when I first saw Ranveer on the big screen in 'Band Baaja Baaraat', an average looking guy delivering power-packed performance, with an unmatchable energy-level and acting skills so fine that I instantly fell in love with him and knew from there that he is born to rule the hearts.

Giving back-to-back hits and becoming more mature in his craft, Ranveer's journey from 'Band Baaja Baaraat' to 'Gully Boy' has not only established him as one of the finest actors of Bollywood but also earned him a place where most of the actors just wish to reach.

The actor has took up almost all the roles and has equally justified them, from a romantic lover, Bittoo Sharma in 'Band Baaja Baaraat', a conman in 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl', a corrupt Policeman in love in 'Simmba' to playing a villainous role of 'Alauddin Khilji' who outshined all the other cast of the movie and bagged all applauds of the critics in a periodical film 'Padmaavat'.

Here are some of the unforgettable performances by Ranveer Singh in his Nine years career:

Band Baaja Baaraat

'Bittu Sharma', an entrepreneur who sets up a Wedding Planing company with his love interest (played by Anushka Sharma) and after all the break-up drama and heart-breaks, end-up planning their own wedding.

Ladies vs Ricky Bahl

A fraudster, 'Ricky Bahl', who conned girls for money but at the end fell in love with a girl who was tricking him for money.

Lootera

'Lootera' is a love saga of yore, that revolves around the lives of two young lovers Pakhi (Sonakshi Sinha) and Varun (Ranveer Singh). In this movie Ranveer's acting skill were well groomed and he had become more mature as an artist.

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela

Famous for its dialogues, Ram-Leela had all the 'masaala' needed for a movie to be a block-buster hit. It's too good to be true dialogues left the audience laughing and amused at the same time. Cast opposite to his dream-girl, Deepika Padukone, the duo left no stone unturned to make this movie a massive hit.

Bajirao Mastani

What a perfect movie! Its talented star cast created such a mesmerizing effect on the sets that for 2 hours 38 mins we didn't realize we are watching a periodic drama. The effects, acting, sets were so real that it took us on a emotional ride.

Padmaavat

In this star-studded movie, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, outshined all the other actors and was a delight to watch. The actor put all his energy to portray the villainous and barbaric attacker Alauddin Khilji on screen. His vigour and enegry in the song 'Khalli-Balli' is unparalleled and was liked by many.

Simmba

No one could've played it well than Ranveer himself. The audience went crazy when the corrupt police officer, Simmba, made his entry. Full on action-Jackson movie with rich humor and Simmba's love interest, the movie again made its way to 200 crore club.

Gully Boy

Filmed in the backdrop of Mumbai's slum Dharavi, Gully Boy is about a boy Murad, who struggles to convey his views on social issues and life in through rapping. The rap songs of this movie are so full of life and meaningful.

The next much awaited movie of Ranveer Singh '83' in which he is playing Kapil Dev is schedule to release next year.
