New Delhi: Breathtaking actor, producer and director, Aamir Khan, turns a year older today as he celebrates his 54th birthday. This Bollywood superstar has always managed to impress his fans with his electrifying performances. Acting out all his characters perfectly, this ‘Dangal’ actor has attained the title of ‘Mr. Perfectionist’.

Born on March 14, 1965, the actor attended JB Petit School for his pre-primary education, and later moved to St. Anne's High School, Bandra till eighth grade. He completed his ninth and tenth from the Bombay Scottish School, Mahim and further attended Mumbai's famous Narsee Monjee College for higher education.

Having a career span of nearly three long decades, his films and acting are great influence for the young buds. His filmography includes classics like 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', 'Dil', 'Andaz Apna Apna', 'Sarfarosh', 'Rang De Basanti', '3 Idiots', 'Dangal' and the list goes on.

Undoubtedly, we do not learn anything from our mother’s womb. Aamir himself was a part of a theater group called 'Avantar' where he was involved in the backstage activities. It was this experience which enriched him as an actor.

Apart from acting and theater, this evergreen actor has himself confessed that he was more into sports than studies and so he played tennis on state level championships, and became a state-level champion.

Khan made his television debut with his talk show, 'Satyamev Jayate' which aired on May 6, 2012. Aamir was paid Rs. 30 million rupees per episode to host this social issues related show and this made him the highest paid host in Indian television industry as of June 2012.
