Goa bench of Bombay HC quashes FIR against Sussanne Khan

Panji: In a relief to Sussanne Khan, the Goa bench of the Bombay High Court has quashed the FIR filed against the ex-wife of Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan in a cheating case. Khan was accused of cheating and misrepresentation in a case involving rupees 1.87 crores.

The two-judge divisional bench of Justice FM Reis and Justice Nutan Sardesai, on Thursday, gave orders in favour of the actor’s ex-wife citing lack of evidence.

Sussanne took to twitter to share the news with her fans. In a series of tweets, she wrote: “My petition allowed by Goa bench of the Bombay High Court. Criminal complaint filed by Emgee Enterprises has been quashed by the High Court.”

“No misrepresentation. FIR registered been quashed. The order quashing FIR vindicated my position. Thankful to the judiciary. Justice prevails,”she tweeted.

The interior designer posted, “I have never made any misrepresentations and have always maintained the highest standards of ethics while discharging my work. Truth be told."

The case against Sussanne Khan:

A First Information Re[port (FIR) was lodged against Sussanne Khan, in June last, at the Panaji police station by a real estate firm, Emgee Properties, in Goa. She was accused of projecting herself as an architect to fetch a contract worth Rs 1.87 crore with real estate firm.

As per the reports Sussanne, who own a interior designing firm, failed to deliver the design within the stipulated time that was mentioned in the contract.

At the moment the project is being constructed at Siridao in Tiswadi in North Goa.
