First teaser trailer of 'Toy Story 4' out! | Watch video

Los Angeles: The first teaser trailer of Toy Story 4 was shared on micro-blogging site Twitter by Disney Pixar. The fourth part of the movie follows the story of a new character named Forky, a craft project made of googly eyes and a disposable spork, who feels out of place in a room filled with the manufactured toys we’ve grown to love.

Producers Disney/Pixar have released a synopsis which reads:

Everyone’s favourite pull-string cowboy sheriff Woody, along with his best friends Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, are happy taking care of their kid, Bonnie, until a new toy called “Forky” arrives in her room. According to Forky, a spork-turned-craft-project, he’s not a toy at all – and he’d rather skip this big adventure completely, if only they’d let him.

Depicting Woody, Jessie, Buzz, and friends all dancing in a circle in slow-motion, the harmony is interrupted by a new toy – a fork with some felt and bubblegum stuck on. “I don’t belong here!” he cries, before bringing the whole group tumbling down.

-Toy Story 4 is directed by Inside Out co-writer Josh Cooley.

-Toy Story 4 will release on 21 June 2019, nine years after Toy Story 3, which remains the fifth highest grossing animated film of all time at the US box office.
