Mumbai: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s nine-year old son Ayaan has finally won the battle against cancer and now he is completely healthy and strong.
With a picture of Ayaan and his, Emraan wrote a heartfelt post, which was, “Today, 5 years after his diagnosis Ayaan has been declared cancer free. It has been quite a journey. Born in February 2010, Ayaan, the first child of actor Emraan Hashmi and wife Parveen Shahani, was diagnosed with the first stage cancer at the age of four in early 2014.
To help raise awareness about the disease and share their story, Emraan came out with a book titled ‘The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer’ in 2016. It chronicles his career, family, and the birth of his son, cancer and treatment thereafter.
