Lucknow: Vickey Kaushal aka bollywood heartthrob is all set to fright his fans with his new film 'Bhoot Part one: The Haunted Ship'. Bhumi Pednekar is co-starring and was scheduled to hit the screen on November 15 this year, but due to some coherence it will release on February 21, 2020.

Shashank Khaitan revealed that the film is based on true story, this interesting fact will surely pique your intrest.

But, did you know that it will revolve around a real-life story of a "ghost ship" that washed ashore on Mumbai's coast?

A source close to the project reveals, "Vicky Kaushal is foraying into the horror genre for the first time. The fact that 'Bhoot...' is based on a true incident that happened in Mumbai, got him excited about it. This film is not for the faint-hearten and unlike the horror-comedies we've seen, it will revolve around a 'ghost ship' that washed ashore on the coast a few years ago.

Besides the fact that there were no crew members on board the unnamed ship, the spooky part is that it went completely undetected when in entered Indian waters and officials were only alarmed when it ran aground off the coast."

Vicky dropped subtle hints about his upcoming when he shared that the best way to watch a horror film, was at a theater with good sound that will only add to the scare-factor of the film.

With the film now he is set to hit the screens in February next year, Vicky will now wrap up work on the Sardar Udham Singh biopic directed by Soojit Sircar and Karan Johar's 'Takht'. He also has the Sam Manekshaw biopic to be helmed by Meghna Gulzar in his kitty.
