Deepika wants more Bollywood stars to try luck in Hollywood

Mumbai: Actor Deepika Padukone, who is making Hollywood debut against popular star Vin Diesel, feels that more Bollywood stars should try their luck in Hollywood projects.

Deepika will be seen in action avatar in her upcoming Hollywood flick ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’.

At the sidelines of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, Deepika said-

• I hope more Bollywood stars will make the mark in Hollywood.
• I have been offered roles in the past but I was not ready then.
• As an actor I don't think I was ready for the challenge before.
• You have to look everything that you get as an opportunity. There is no role that's too small or big.

Apart from ‘Tamasha’ actor, other actors in the form of Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan have also created impact in the Hollywood.

Deepika said that ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ is an action film and she was craving for that genre as has not done one since Akshay Kumar co-starrer 'Chandni Chowk to China'.
