Deepika Padukone was admin of WhatsApp drugs group, confirms NCB
Mumbai: In the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the drug angle is now taking a larger form. Since the arrest of Rhea, the names of many Bollywood stars have been coming out one by one. While the NCB team is questioning actress Rakul preet Singh today, the NCB has got a lot of information in this matter. According to NCB sources, Deepika Padukone was the admin of that particular group. In that group only three members were added.
Deepika was handling a WhatsApp group for drugs chat:
If the news is to be believed then this group started in the year 2017. The group included Deepika Padukone, Jaya Shah and Karishma Prakash. In this group Deepika and Karisma talked about drugs.
On the other hand, in front of the NCB of actress Rakul Preet, she has admitted that she had a drug chat with Rhea in the year 2018. She confessed that Rhea asked for some goods, but she was not knowing if that was drug.
She told NCB that Rhea was getting the drugs and packets were at her home. But Rakul herself has refused to take drugs. Following the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty in drug case, NCB’s interrogation has named Sara, Rakul, Shraddha and many big stars. Those who have been summoned for questioning.
Deepika has returned from Goa with her husband and actor Ranveer Singh to Mumbai last evening and will arrive at the NCB office tomorrow where she will be questioned. Amidst all this, Ranveer Singh wants to be with Deepika every moment.
Deepika gets anxiety attacks:
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh said in the application to NCB that Deepika Padukone sometimes gets worried and gets nervous. That is why he is asking permission to be with Deepika.
Ranveer said that he is a law-abiding citizen and knows that he cannot be present at the time of interrogation of Deepika, but he is aware that he should be allowed inside the NCB office. However, the NCB has not taken any decision yet.
Apart from this, Shruti Modi also was called for a probe in the drug nexus case. Further, Rakul Preet Singh’s team has claimed that the actress did not get any summons from NCB. Hence, the actress is unlikely to appear today. However, the sources reported the NCB saying that they issued summons digitally to the actress.
