25 days of 'Baahubali 2', film continues its golden run

Chennai: Baahubali 2 aka 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', which netted a whopping Rs 121 crore earnings in Indian on the first day of its release, has neared Rs 400 crore on the second day itself.

The Prabhas-starrer movie, which had 90 per cent occupancy on the first day of its release (as per Karan Johar), has grossed Rs 382.5 crore worldwide in just two days of its release, said the renowned trade analysts.

It may be recalled that Baahubali: The Beginning, the first instalment of apparently the costliest Indian project, had raked in Rs 650 crore worldwide.

The film succeeded in receiving rave reviews from the audiences as well as the critics.

It must be mentioned that so far, 'PK', starring Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, is the highest grossing Indian film of all time with collections of Rs 792 crore worldwide.

If the trade pundits are to be believed, Baahubali 2, which was made of a budget of Rs 250 crore, is going to be the first ever Indian project to mark its entry in Rs 1000 crore club.
