Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has yet again shown his generosity by donating Rs. 80 lakhs to the Army jawans.

As per the reports of leading English daily, Khiladi Kumar has donated the handsome amount of money to the Indian soldiers.

When Akki was asked about the same, he said-

  • They are decorated with lot of medals and that is good
  • But I looked at their faces. The samman was required for them but they need money too.
  • I thought how about giving them money and that is when I decided to give 5 lakhs to each family.

Usually, ‘Airlift’ actor feels shame on discussing over charity.

“I am very glad that they have been noticed by media and they are being recognized. We should continue this practice,” said Akshay.

Earlier, Khiladi Kumar had donated a handful amount of money to the drought hit families of Maharashtra.

On work front, ‘Housefull 3’ actor is busy in the promotions of his recent released flick ‘Rustom’ which is scoring some huge numbers at the Box Office.

The film is also getting critical acclaim and has beaten Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Mohenjo Daro’ in the weekend clash.
