Time to show solidarity with our Jawan's, says AB on 74th B'day

Mumbai: Amithabh Bachchan, on his 74th birthday, stated, It is not the time to land into the political controversies regarding Surgical strikes or Uri attack, rather it is the time to show solidarity towards our jawans and our armed forces for sacrificing their lives so that we can be safe.

Addressing media on Tuesday the Shahanshah praised the courage of Indian Army and saluted them for sacrificing their lives for the nation.

Big B, however, distanced himself from commenting on Pakistani artistes. He said, I respect all artistes regardless of their religion or nationality.

What else Amitabh Bachchan said:

• Responding on a question regarding the Hema Malini's Birthday, the senior Bachchan said, I would wish her personally than speaking anything on cameras. "I always wish her personally and would do the same this time too", said Big B.
• Amithabh also remembered Kishore Kumar and paid homage to him as his death anniversary falls this month.
• The Big B also wished Dilip Kumar on his marriage anniversary which also falls today only.
