Alia Bhatt pens a heart warming birthday message for mother Soni Razdan; shares nostalgic picture

Alia Bhatt shared a nostalgic picture and penned down a heart-warming note on account of mother Soni Razdan's birthday as she turned 67 this year. Other celebrities like Neetu Kapoor also wished her.

Actress Soni Razdan is celebrating her 67th birthday today. Many of her admirers and famous people, like Neetu Kapoor, have sent her well wishes. But the thing that grabbed our attention was that, in an effort to make her birthday even more memorable, Alia Bhatt shared a nostalgic childhood picture with her mother where she could be seen sitting on her mother's lap and another recent picture with her mother.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, Alia took to her Instagram and shared a post wishing her mother a happy birthday and penned down a heart-warming message that said, "On your birthday I look back at one of my birthdays.. I spent the whole party sitting on your lap cause I was too scared of the inflated Godzilla which I drove you up the wall to get me..But nonetheless I look perfectly content and happy and clearly there’s no place I’d rather be..Happy birthday mothership .. we’d be nothing without you.. grateful for you every single minute every single day.."

After seeing the image, Soni Razdan felt overwhelmed and commented on Alia's post, "Thank you my sweetheart light of my life and centre of my soul … my lap is yours always and so is my love".

Alia Bhatt's sister Shaheen Bhatt also took to her Instagram and shared several pictures of mother with the caption "Centre of my universe - then, now, always.Happy Birthday ma." to which the mother replied "Thank you my darling child you are the core of my and soul and all the rest of it you make my world turn and my heart so so happy".

Talking about her work, Soni Razdan's most recent appearance was in the movie Sardar Ka Grandson, starring Arjun Kapoor and Neena Gupta. She will next be seen in the film Pippa, directed by Raja Menon, co-starring Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Ishaan Khattar. The film is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, who along with his siblings, served in the 45th Cavalry tank squadron and fought on the eastern front during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. As per reports, the film will be released in 2023.
