The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actress has confirmed the news on social media and revealed that she is in home quarantine at the moment.

Alia took her Instagram story to share the news and stated that she is following all the necessary safety protocols. Besides, she also expressed her gratitude towards her fans for their love and support and urged everyone to stay safe during the pandemic. The Raazi actress wrote, "Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID 19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe & take care."

For the uninitiated, it's been a month when Alia's beau Ranbir Kapoor had tested positive for the deadly virus.
