Akshay Kumar has a 'Good News' for his fans! Check here

Mumbai: Here is a 'Good News' for the fans of Akshay Kumar as the Bollywood superstar announced the title and star cast of his next movie on Twitter on Thursday.

The movie, titled Good News, will be produced under Dharma Production and is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 19, 2019.

In sheer excitement actor tweeted, "Good News! That's the name of our film and so is the news I am sharing :) It is a 'dramedy'. Due Date 19th July, 2019."

In this movie Akshay is sharing screen with Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. In a recent interview, the actor was asked about a visible shift in his choice of movie selections, concerning mainly social issues, to which he replied that he does other kind of movies too.

He pointed out that his 'Houseful 4' promotes no 'moral story' but to laugh more.

'Good News' is a light-hearted comedy film in which Akshay and Kareena are playing a married couple who is trying for a baby. Diljit and Kiara will also be playing a Punjabi married couple trying for a baby as well.

Akshay and Kareena are sharing screen space after a gap of six years as they last appeared together in an item song in 'Rowdy Rathore'.

The two actors have done many films together including Ajnabee, Kambakkht Ishq, Tashan and Aitraz. Daljit has also worked with the actress in Udta Punjab. This will be their second movie together.

Kiara Advani has recently shot to fame with her performance in a Karan Johar directorial web series 'Lust Stories'. The director got moved so much by her acting skills that he decided to cast her in his next big project.
