Akshay Kumar books Independence Day 2018 for ‘Gold’  

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is back with yet another treat for his fans. Khiladi Kumar on Friday shared the details regarding his upcoming project titled as ‘Gold'.

Akshay took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to upload the poster of the film which shows a tricolor having an Olympic gold medal in the middle.

He also announced that the flick will hit the theatres on Independence Day 2018. It could be mentioned here that Akki has also booked the Independence Day 2017 for Neeraj Pandey’s Crack.

‘Gold’ will be a historical sports drama which will revolve around India winning its first gold medal post Independence.

Interestingly, it is for the first time ‘Baby’ actor is teaming up with Farhan Akhtar camp. The film will be directed by Reema Kagti.
