Aishwarya thanks Akhilesh for declaring Sarbjit tax-free in UP

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has profusely thanked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for making her new movie Sarbjit 'tax free' in the state.

''Hum UP ke Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav ko dil se dhanyavad dete hain (We thank Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav from the bottom of our hearts)," she said at red carpet premier of the film directed by Omang Kumar.

Aishwarya essays a role of Dalbeer Kaur, the sister of Sarbjit who had to spent donkey years in Pakistan jail. The title role in the movie is played by Randeep Hooda. Sarbjit hit the theatres on Friday i.e May 20.

Jackky Bhagnani, the debutant prodcer of the film, has also extended his thanks to Akhilesh Ydav for declaring Sarbjit 'tax free' in Uttar Pradesh.
