Adipurush released on Netflix and Amazon Prime

Prabhas-starrer Adipurush has been launched on the OTT platform Netflix and Amazon Prime. People can watch this film on these two OTT platforms. The movie was based on the Hindu epic 'Ramayana' in which Prabhas has played the role of Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan played the role of demon king Ravana.
Netizens can watch the Hindi version on Netflix while Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions are available on Amazon Prime Video.

Viewers did not like this movie and it became a controversial topic in India because according to the media reports it had hurt the Hindu sentiment.

According to the media reports, the movie was sold in Rs 250 crores on OTT.

According to some reports the film was considered as 'flop', but T-Series claimed that the film had earned more than Rs 450 crores in 11th days.

Om Raut directed the movie was released on 16th June 2023 in box offices. But after this the movie ran into controversy for its dialogues. Later, the makers decided to change the dialogues.

The film was released as positive effect in box office, but people did not like the VFX and dialogues and posted bad reviews about the film which had affected its overall earning on the box offices.

Film dialogues were written by Manoj Muntasir Shukla. For this, he had to face people's anger towards the movie and Muntasir had to take an apology from the people. After this, several dialogues were changed in the movie.

In this apology, he posted a tweet and said “I accept people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apologies. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation.”
