Bollywood actress files sexual harassment complaint at Mumbai PS

Mumbai: Former Miss India and famous Bollywood actress Sonu Walia has registered a sexual harassment complaint against an unidentified person at the Bangur Nagar Police Station after receiving lewd phone calls on Friday.

"I have been receiving some obscene videos as well as lewd phone calls since last few days. I even warned the caller but he kept on increasing the frequency of his calls. He was calling me from not only one but various numbers," said the actress.

Cyber Cell DGP Akhilesh Singh in this connection said, "An FIR has been registered under section 354 of the Indian Penal Court IPC and Section 67 A of the IT (Information Technology) Act."

Station Officer Shirish Gaikwad stated, "We are trying to trap the location of the numbers. Besides, we came to know that the numbers are no longer in operation."

Sonu Walia is best known for her role in the film 'Khoon Bhari Maang' along with Rekha.
