Aamir Khan: ‘Dangal’ having gala time, check 4 day collection

Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ is having a dream run at Bollywood Box Office. After going past Rs 100 crore mark on Sunday, the wrestling-based flick has collected Rs 132.43 crore in four days of its release.

‘Dangal’ earned Rs 25.38 crore on Monday (Day 4) taking the four day collection to Rs 132.43 crore. The film also scored great numbers on first three days- Friday 29.78 crore, Saturday Rs 34.82 crore and Sunday Rs 42.35 crore.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to micro-blogging site Twitter to reveal the exact numbers of ‘Dangal’ collection.

‘Dangal’ also registered itself as a film having highest single day collection of over Rs 42 crore, leaving Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ behind.

This is not a first time when Aamir’s film is having a gala time as whenever the actor has come, he raised new milestones, breaking the previous ones.

It could be mentioned here that Aamir Khan-starrer biographical sports drama “Dangal” has been made tax free in Uttar Pradesh.

Other Highlights:

• The film is based on the personal and professional lives of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trains his daughters to win gold medal at Olympics.
• The film stars Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sakshi Tanwar and Aparshakti Khurrana in pivotal roles.
• The Nitesh Tiwari directorial has been co-produced under Aamir Khan Productions, Walt Disney Pictures and UTV Motion Pictures.
• The film had hit the theaters on December 23.
