59th Grammy Awards: India's Tabla maestros Sandeep, Abhiman lift trophy

Mumbai: Two Indian Tabla artistes - Sandeep Das and Abhiman Kaushal lift trophies at the 59th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday.

“Sing Me Home”, which has the contribution of Das, won the Best World Music Album award.

Das is part of Silk Road Ensemble, a collaborative effort by musician Yo-Yo Ma to bring together performers and composers from more than 20 countries.

Meanwhile, Abhiman won the Grammy award for the album 'White Sun II' in the New Age Music category.
