Chill Break: Rajasthan Schools Shut Till January 13 Due to Winter Weather

Severe cold has started knocking across the country. In view of winter, winter holidays have started being announced in many states. To see the situation, the Director General School Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has released information related to winter vacation.

It has been announced that council schools in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh will be closed from December 31, 2023. These holidays will be given under winter vacation. Schools will remain closed from 31 December 2023 to 14 January 2024. In this way students are being given 15 days leave for winter vacation.

On behalf of the Director General of School Education, instructions have been given to the schools of all the districts to give homework to the children during the holidays so that they can concentrate on their studies, so that there is minimal impact on the children's education.

The Director General of School Education had talked about declaring winter holidays from December 31 to January 14 in the educational calendar. In view of this, it has now been announced that schools in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh will be closed on these dates.

The cold will be continuously monitored during this time period. If the cold continues, these holidays may be extended. It is seen that now the cold wave sometimes continues till after January 20. Therefore, this will be continuously reviewed.
