UPSC announces vacancy for 120 posts, selection will be done without examination

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced vacancies for different posts. UPSC has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to various posts. The Commission has made these recruitments for the posts of Assistant Director, Scientist-B, Administrative Officer Grade-I, Scientist-B, Specialist Grade-III, Scientist B, Engineer and Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General and Specialist Grade-III. Last date for online application is 29 February 2024 till 11.59 pm.

Last date for printing the submitted form is 1 March 2024 till 11.59 pm.

According to the information, UPSC has fixed different qualifications for all the posts. For the post of Assistant Direct, a candidate should have a degree in Engineering in Civil/Mechanical/Computer Science/Information Technology/Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronics disciplines from a recognized university with three years of experience or two years of experience in Master's degree in Science with Electronics/Physics subjects. UPSC has announced recruitment for many types of posts. In such a situation, different age limits have been fixed according to the post. People between 35 to 50 years can apply for this. In the maximum age limit, OBC category candidates will get three years relaxation, SC, ST category candidates will get five years relaxation and Divyang category candidates will get ten years relaxation.

Shortlisted candidates will be selected through interview. On the day of interview, candidates will have to reach the chosen address with all their documents. These recruitments are for New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Lucknow, Bhopal, Nagpur, Patna, Guwahati, Jaipur.

UPSC Recruitment 2024, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 25 (non-refundable) for General/OBC/EWS male candidates. There is no fee for SC, ST, PWBD and women candidates of any community. Application fee will have to be paid in online mode from any branch of SBI through cash or net banking or credit card, debit card.
