UP Board Class 10, Class 12 exams to begin from March 16

Lucknow: UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations 2017 will begin from March 16, announced the Allahabad Board on Monday.

The high school exams will conclude on April 1 while the Intermediate examination will last till April 21, the board added.

UP board officials had submitted a proposed program of examinations to the Chief Electoral Office, which was further sent to the Election Commission of India for approval.

EC had asked the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) to conduct the board exams after March 16 to which the board officials have requested the election body to give it the permission to begin the exams from March 16 itself.

The board said that the datesheet of UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations will be released soon.
