Taiwan Excellence big on youth connect, partners with IIT Delhi’s Rendezvous fest

New Delhi: Taiwan Excellence continued its exciting initiative to connect with the youth in India and offered them first-hand experience of the best of technology.

This time, Taiwan Excellence facilitates its association with the prestigious festival Rendezvous hosted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi from 13th to 16th Oct 2018.

Rendezvous, famously known as RDV, is the annual Cultural Festival of IIT, Delhi. Each year, the fest witnesses some extraordinary participation, with registrations from numerous colleges across India in more than 500 cultural events encompassing Dance, Drama, Debating, Photography, Music and much more.

The footfall is always record-breaking and people pour into the IIT campus from across the country to get a taste of the revelry.

Known for its burgeoning ICT industry, Taiwan is the world’s leading destination for world-class technology. Its gaming industry and technology offerings are superlative making it the world’s ultimate gaming destination. Through events like Rendezvous and other college fests that majorly attract young population, Taiwan Excellence has been making an effort to reach out to youngsters to give them a chance to lay their hands on the best of technology.

On display was a plethora of stellar ICT products that visitors could check out. Top-notch Taiwanese brands including ADATA, Asus, Apacer, Cyber Power, D-Link, InWin, MSI, Silicon Power, Thermaltake, and Tokuyo showcased their cutting-edge product range.

Taiwan Excellence’s interesting product display received an overwhelming response from the students who attended the festival. The crowds kept thronging the display space to catch a glimpse of the latest, cutting-edge technology.

Sarthak Inani (Textile Technology), a student was exhilarated to have witnessed the whole experience. He said, “Taiwan Excellence had put up such a fabulous display and we had a great time experiencing innovative technology products. Taiwan has some of the best bands in the industry. So it felt great to look at all these products and know about them.”

Mr. Herben Wu, Taipei World Trade Center Liaison Office in New Delhi, said, “We have been undertaking many such initiatives recently to connect with the youth in India. We wish to give them a chance to experience world-class technology which Taiwan Excellence has to offer. IIT Delhi’s Rendezvous is an extremely popular youth fest. So this was one of the best platforms for us to interact with youth from different parts of the country.”

The highlight of this year’s Taiwan Excellence display was a special VR Experience wherein the visitors could come and get a firsthand experience of the technology. The depiction of the Taiwan Excellence story through an amalgamation of dance and technology also grabbed many eyeballs and received great response. There were lucky draws too with various activities for all the days with a mega lucky draw on the last day of the fest.
