National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 from February 9. Eligible candidates can register themselves by visiting its official website neet.ntaonline.in. by March 9.

The National Medical Council i.e. NMC has given relaxation by changing the eligibility of the application last year.

Educational qualification:

Students applying for NEET UG exam must have passed 12th from a recognized board in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology subject. If English is an additional subject, you can also apply. This year, candidates appearing for the board exam can also fill the form, but by the time of admission the result of the exam should be out and the 12th should be passed with a minimum of 50% marks.

Age:

The age limit for registration has been fixed at 17 years.

Exam languages:

NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in 13 languages which includes English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi and Urdu.

Application fee:

Candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs1700 while EWS/OBC-NCL have to pay Rs1600 and SC/ST/PWDB/Third gender will have to pay Rs1000 as application fee.

Exam date:

NEET UG exam will be held on 5th May 2024. Whereas, the result will be declared by 14 June 2024.

Login to neet.ntaonline.in for registration.

Now click on the NEET registration window.

A new page will open, fill in personal and academic details.

Upload necessary documents and photos.

After this, pay the application fee and submit the form.

Download and save the confirmation page.
