Indian Navy has invited applications from candidates for the posts of Short Service Commission Officers. 254 vacancies have emerged through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Navy joinindiannavy.gov.in till 10th March.

Vacancy details:

  • Executive Branch: 136 posts
  • Education Branch: 18 posts
  • Technical Branch: 100 posts

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have a B.E/B.Tech degree in any subject or discipline with minimum 60% marks.

Age Range:

Under this recruitment, candidates born after January 2, 2000 can apply. Candidates born after 1st July 2005 cannot apply.

Application fee:

There is no fee for any candidate.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on a shortlisting process of candidates. After this, merit list will be done and then candidates will be selected after completing the medical exam. After final selection, candidates will have to undergo training as sub-lieutenants.

After completing the training, one will have to serve on probation for three years in NAIC and two years in other branches. After this, there will be a permanent appointment.

Salary:

Selected candidates will be paid Rs56100 with other allowances.
