The application process has been started by issuing notification for apprenticeship recruitment in Rail Wheel Factory. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the website of Rail Wheel Factory rwf.indianrailways.gov.in till 22nd March. Candidates have to send the application offline.

Fitter: 85 Posts

Machinist: 31 Posts

Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 08 Posts

Turner: 05 Posts

CNC Programming cum Operator (COE Group): 23 Posts

Electrician: 18 posts

Electronic Mechanic: 22 Posts

Total number of posts: 192

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have a 10th pass degree from a recognized board can apply. Apart from this, candidates who have a ITI certificate in relevant trade are also eligible for the post.

Age Range:

The minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 15 years and maximum age is 24 years.

Candidates belong to OBC, EWS, SC, ST and reserved categories are given relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules.

Application Fee:

Candidates belong to general category will have to deposit a fee of Rs 100. While application form is free for SC, ST, PhD and women candidates. Fees will have to be paid through demand draft or Indian Postal Order.

Stipend:

CNC Program – Cum Operator – Rs 10,899 per month.

Other Trades: Rs 12,261 per month.

Selection Process:

Selection will be done on the basis on merit. After this, document verification will be done and then candidates will have to pass medical exam.
