NEET 2024 Syllabus Revised

National Testing Agency has announced JEE, CUET and NEET exam dates. JEE exam 2024 is to be held in the month of January-April. Whereas NEET 2024 exam is to be conducted on 5th May. Through NEET exam, students who have appeared for class 12th board exam from various boards and appearing for board exam 2024 get admission in MBBS, BDS and other UG courses.

If you are also preparing for NEET, the most prestigious medical exam, then let us tell you that NMC has changed the syllabus of NEET exam. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has revised the syllabus for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024).

As per the exam pattern, NEET UG 2024 question paper will have two sections. Section A will have 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions, out of which students can choose to attempt any 10 questions. The revised syllabus of NEET exam has been uploaded on the official website of NMC, nmc.org.in.

NMC recommends NEET UG syllabus after reviewing CBSE, NCERT syllabus along with various state boards. "Stakeholders are advised to refer to the updated syllabus for NEET (UG)-2024 for preparation of study material and for NEET (UG) examinations for the academic session 2024-25," NMC said.

NEET exam is a test of three basic subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology. National Medical Commission has changed the syllabus of three subjects. Talking about Physics subject, the Commission has made changes in the syllabus of topics like Kinematics, Law of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Kinetic Theory of Gases in Physics and Measurement along with Current Electricity, Optics etc. in Electrostatics.

The Commission has made changes in the syllabus of all three parts of Chemistry subject, Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. Along with Chemistry and Physics, the Commission has also made many major changes in the syllabus of the base of Medical Entrance Examination i.e. Biology subject. Changes have been made in Biology's Diversity of Living World, Reproduction, Genetics and Evaluation, Biology and Human Welfare, Plant Psychology, Human Psychology, Ecology and Environment.
