In a commendable move, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is set to provide free coaching for NEET and JEE exams to 100 meritorious students from its schools and Navyug schools. This two-year integrated class for Class 11 students aims to level the playing field for deserving candidates, fostering equal educational opportunities.
**NDMC's Vision for Education Equality:**
Recognizing the need for accessible coaching, NDMC's initiative targets 50 students each for JEE and NEET coaching in the inaugural year. The number is expected to grow in subsequent years, ensuring a wider reach and impact on students aspiring for competitive exams.
**Collaboration with Coaching Institutes:**
NDMC has initiated a tender to invite bids from coaching institutes, emphasizing the importance of having at least one center in Delhi, preferably near the NDMC area. The selected coaching centers must possess the necessary infrastructure, including premises and a library.
**Screening Process and Student Selection:**
To ensure fairness, students will undergo a screening test conducted by the coaching center, which will enroll 50 students each for JEE and NEET coaching in the first year. The coaching institutes are mandated not to differentiate between students selected through the scheme and those enrolled directly.
**Comprehensive Support for Students:**
Apart from academic coaching, the selected coaching institutes are required to provide study materials, conduct mock tests, and organize psychology sessions through reputed psychologists. This holistic approach aims to nurture the overall development and confidence of the students.
