National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released 119 posts including 43 posts for Inspector, 51 posts for Sub Inspector, 13 posts for Assistant Sub-Inspector, and 12 posts for Head Constable. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of NIA, nia.gov.in by 22nd February 2024. This recruitment will be done on a deputation basis.

Educational Qualification:

Those candidates who are applying for Inspector and Sub Inspector must have a graduation degree from any recognized university. Also, there should be two years of experience in handling criminal investigation cases or intelligence work or operations or information technology cases or anti-terrorism training cases.

Assistant Sub Inspector:

They must have a graduation degree from any recognized university and five years of regular service. Apart from this, there should be at least two years of experience in the field of investigation of criminal cases or intelligence work.

Head Constable:

They must have passed class 12th from any recognized university or board. Also, one should have experience working in Central or State Police Organization or State Police Organization or Government Intelligence Agency or other investigative bodies.

Salary:

Salary criteria is different for the posts like

Inspector:

Pay Matrix Level-7 Pre-revised PB-2 (Rs9300 to 34800) and Grade Pay Rs4600.

Sub Inspector:

Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs35400 to Rs12400) and Grade Pay Rs4200.

Assistant Sub Inspector:

Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs29200 to Rs92300) and Grade Pay Rs2800.

Head Constable:

Salary will be given through Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs25500 to Rs81700) and Grade Pay Rs2400.

Age:

Candidates should have a maximum age of 56 years.

Selection Process:

Selection will be done on the basis of written exam, Document Verification, medical test and merit list basis.
