Lucknow University: Affiliated Colleges Urged to Obtain ABC ID, Exam Controller Issues Notice

Lucknow University: In Lucknow University, students will now be required to have an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID to fill out examination forms. It is mandatory for any subject's examination form to be accompanied by an ABC ID. The Controller of Examinations at LU, Vidyanand Tripathi, has issued a letter regarding this for all affiliated colleges.

Letter Issued for Colleges

At LU, an ABC ID, which is an Academic Bank of Credits ID, and an APR ID, which stands for Automated Payment Academic Account Registry, will be essential for filling out examination forms. Without these IDs, students will not be able to submit their forms. If institutions affiliated with LU do not create these IDs, students may face difficulties in taking exams. According to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, this decision was made following the orders from the Ministry of Education.

ID Mandatory for Exam Form Submission

According to Vidyanand Tripathi, the Controller of Examinations at Lucknow University, students from institutions without an ID will not be able to fill out examination forms. In such a situation, they will not be able to appear for the exams. He mentioned that all affiliated colleges must obtain an Academic Bank of Credits and an Automated Payment Academic Account Registry ID.

Exam Form Submission through ID Only

Students at Lucknow University will now be required to have an ABC ID to fill out examination forms, as per Vidyanand Tripathi. In the absence of an ID, students will not be able to complete their forms, and consequently, they won't be able to take the exams. He emphasized that it is mandatory for all affiliated colleges to obtain these IDs.

All Affiliated Colleges to Obtain ID

For all 556 colleges affiliated with LU, obtaining this ID is now compulsory. This includes all affiliated colleges in Lucknow, such as KKC, KCV, Kalicharan PG College, Shia PG College, Lucknow Christian College, Navayug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, City College, and many others. Both APR and ABC IDs are now mandatory for these colleges. Additionally, institutions in districts like Raebareli, Sitapur, Lakhimpur, and others must also obtain these IDs.
