Indian Institute of Technology, Madras will close the registration window for the Joint Admission Test, IIT JAM 2024 today. Interested candidates in doing PG program from IIT or Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) can apply today by visiting the official website jam.iitm.ac.in.

IIT Madras is conducting the examination for seven test papers including Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Physics and Mathematical Statistics. Candidates can appear in one or two test papers.

Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics papers will be conducted in the morning shift while Biotechnology, Economics, Physics and Mathematical Statistics papers will be conducted in the afternoon.

Candidates can take admission on the basis of JAM 2024 score in around 3,000 PG programs like MSc, MSc (Tech), MS Research, MSc-MTech (Dual Degree), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD (Dual Degree) in various IITs and IISc.

JAM 2024 exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) in which students will have to solve 60 questions of 100 marks in three 3 hours. Each paper will be divided into three sections. Section A will have 30 multiple-choice questions. Section B will have 10 MSQ questions while Section C will have 20 numerical answer-type questions. Students will be allowed to use online virtual calculators.

JAM exam admit card will be released on January 08, 2024. The exam will be held on February 11, 2024. The result will be released on 22 March. The scorecard will be released on April 02, 2024. The portal for admission will be opened on April 10, 2024.
