IIM Lucknow Sets New Records in Placements: 634 Offers for 576 Students in PGP38 and ABM19 Batch

The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIML), has recently concluded its final placements for the batch of PGP38 and ABM19, achieving a milestone with 634 job offers for 576 students. This placement cycle marked the largest batch in the institute's 38-year history, solidifying its reputation for excellence in management education.

The highlight of this placement season was the impressive highest international package (CTC) of Rs 1.23 Crore Per Annum (CPA), emphasizing the global recognition of IIM Lucknow graduates. Simultaneously, the highest domestic salary package (CTC) reached Rs 65 LPA, reflecting the diverse opportunities available for students within the country.

IIM Lucknow proudly claims a 100 percent placement record for this batch, setting a precedent for future cohorts. The average and median CTC for the batch stood at Rs 30 lakh per annum and Rs 27 lakh per annum, respectively, underlining the institute's commitment to delivering high-quality management education.

The success of the placement season can be attributed to the participation of an impressive roster of 250+ recruiters, the highest number across all domains. Some of the top recruiters included renowned companies such as ABG, Accenture, Adani Group, BCG, Deloitte, Jio Financial Services, McKinsey, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, PwC, Samagra, Shell, VISA, Target, TAS, and many more.

Students from the PGP and PGP-ABM programs were placed across various roles in Consulting, Finance, General Management, IT and Analytics, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and Retail E-Commerce, showcasing the diverse expertise of IIM Lucknow graduates. The institute's global reach was evident in the placement of students with top recruiters from around the world.

Earlier in the summer placements, students from PGP and PGP-ABM had achieved a remarkable 100 percent summer placement rate, securing a total of 576 offers. The statistics, released in October 2023, revealed average and median stipends of Rs 1.31 lakh per month and Rs 1.30 lakh per month, respectively.
